Uses of Bdenza Capsule
Bdenza 40 mg capsule is prescribed to treat men with non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (nmCRPC).
How Bdenza Capsule Works
Prostate cancers are sensitive to testosterone and their growth is increased in the presence of this hormone. Testosterone is produced by the testicles, the adrenal glands and by cells in the prostate tumour itself.
Bdenza 40 mg is an androgen receptor inhibitor. This medicine works by blocking the activity of hormones called androgens (such as testosterone). By blocking androgens, Bdenza reduces the growth of the prostate cancer cells, and can also kill the cancer cells and cause the tumour to shrink.
